Tour Itinerary
1. Tu Duc Tomb (Khiêm Lăng)
Begin at Tu Duc Tomb — the poetic and tranquil final resting place of the 4th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. Your guide will explain the history and symbolism of the site and provide your entrance ticket (included). You’ll have about 1 hour to explore the grounds at your own pace.
2. Incense-Making Village (Thuy Xuân)
Visit the 700-year-old traditional incense-making village. Spend about 30 minutes learning about the ancient craft, with the chance to try making incense yourself!
3. Vong Canh Hill
Enjoy a short trek and sweeping views of the Perfume River from this scenic viewpoint. See remnants of French and American bunkers, take beautiful photos, and relax under peaceful pine trees.
4. Khai Dinh Tomb (Ung Lăng)
Explore the elaborately designed tomb of Khai Dinh, the second-to-last emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. Though the smallest of the royal tombs, it is the most ornate — with intricate details and European influences. We’ll spend around 40 minutes here.
5. Abandoned Waterpark (Thuy Tien Lake)
End your adventure at the eerie yet fascinating Thuy Tien Lake Waterpark. Explore broken pools, crumbling slides, and a massive dragon statue — a dream for photographers and urban explorers. Trek around the lake for about 1 hour. Ticket included.
