Why Choose the 3-Day Hue to Hoi An Motorbike Tour?
Our 1-day, 2-day, 3-day Hue to Hoi An motorbike tours offer different ways to experience Central Vietnam, depending on how much time you have and what you want to discover. We begin the day with pickup after breakfast. After a short drive, we visit Tam Giang Lagoon, the largest in Southeast Asia. We cross it by ferry, watch local fishermen at work, and take in the peaceful waterside scenery.
We continue along the coastline to My Thuy Beach, a pristine and non-touristy gem with golden sand and clear blue waters — perfect for swimming and relaxing.

Next, we pass through traditional villages and visit a fish sauce-making village to learn the ancient methods of production. Around 12:30 PM, we enjoy lunch at Cua Tung Beach, another beautiful and quiet stretch of coast.
In the afternoon, we explore key DMZ sites:
- Vinh Moc Tunnels – an underground village built during the war
- Hien Luong Bridge – the dividing line between North and South Vietnam
- Truong Son Cemetery – Vietnam’s largest military graveyard
We continue on Road 9 toward Khe Sanh, stopping every 30 minutes for photos, coffee, and cultural interaction. Visit Dakrong Bridge, once a strategic supply route during the war. We end the day with a mountain sunset and spend the night in Khe Sanh.
Day 2: Khe Sanh → Prao via Ho Chi Minh Trail (201 km)
We start with a visit to Khe Sanh Combat Base, a former US military outpost. Then, we begin our ride along the most scenic stretch of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, surrounded by jungles, rivers, and valley views.

Throughout the day, we stop to:
- Meet Pa Co, Co Tu, and Van Kieu tribes
- Learn about traditional life in the mountains
- Swim at a hidden jungle waterfall
- Enjoy authentic meals at local roadside stops
We end the day with sunset views and an overnight stay in Prao Minority Village.
Day 3: Prao → Hoi An via Hai Van Pass (165 km)

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the itinerary written from Hue to Hoi An?
Yes. For simplicity, our detailed day-by-day itinerary is written from Hue to Hoi An. If you start from Hoi An or Da Nang, we travel the same itinerary in reverse, with the same destinations, experiences and overnight stays.
The only difference is the direction of travel. You will still experience the DMZ, Khe Sanh, Ho Chi Minh Trail, mountain roads, local villages, waterfalls and Hai Van Pass before finishing in Hue.
What makes this different from traveling by bus?
A bus takes you from one city to another, but an Easy Rider motorbike tour is about the journey itself.
Instead of simply following the main route, you have time to explore the DMZ, Ho Chi Minh Trail, mountains, local villages, historic sites, waterfalls and scenic back roads before arriving in Hoi An or Hue.
Is the 3-Day motorbike tour suitable for everyone?
Yes. The tour is easy and suitable for most travelers, even if you are not used to spending a full day on a motorbike. We ride at a comfortable pace and stop frequently, usually about every 30 minutes, so you have plenty of opportunities to rest, take photos, enjoy the scenery and explore along the way.
You can also choose to ride as a passenger with one of our experienced Easy Riders, so you can simply relax and enjoy the journey without driving yourself.
The main consideration is your personal health and comfort. If you have serious back problems or heart-related health problems, a long motorbike journey may not be a good choice.
How is my luggage handled during the tour?
Don’t worry about your luggage. We can secure your luggage on the back of our larger motorbike and carry it with us during the journey. If your luggage is too large or heavy to carry comfortably on the motorbike, we can arrange to send it by car to your next destination.
We will discuss your luggage with you before the tour and arrange the best and most convenient option for your trip, so you can enjoy the ride without worrying about your bags.
Where do we stay during the 3-day tour?
The tour includes 2 nights of acommodation during the journey, with a private rooms provided for our guests.
If you are traveling as a couple or a group, we can arrange the rooms according to your preference. If you prefer to have your own room, a private room for one person is also available.
We stay in local ares along the route, giving you the opportunity to experience more of Central Vietnam beyond the main tourist destinations, while still having a comfortable place to rest after each day of riding.
Can I ride my own motorbike, or do I ride with an Easy Rider?
You can choose the option that suits you best, depending on your riding experience and availability.
If you prefer to relax and enjoy the scenery, you can ride as a passenger with one of our experienced Easy Riders. If you have suitable motorbike experience, a self-rider option may also be available.
