Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Hue → Prao Minority Village via Hai Van Pass (180 km)
Our day begins with pickup around 8:30 AM from your hotel, train or bus station, or airport in Hue, Da Nang, or Hoi An. After a short drive, we stop at Thanh Toan Bridge, a charming arched wooden bridge surrounded by rice fields and local markets. Here, you’ll learn about traditional Vietnamese farming and family worship.
We continue through lush villages and fields, stopping at the City of Ghosts — one of the world’s largest and most ornate cemeteries, where families build elaborate tombs for their ancestors.
Next, we stop at Tam Giang Lagoon, the largest lagoon in Southeast Asia, where you’ll see how local fishermen work. We then relax at Mo Waterfall, a hidden gem perfect for a refreshing swim and photo break.
After a delicious lunch at Lang Co Beach, one of the world’s top beaches, we head into the mountains via the iconic Hai Van Pass, stopping often for scenic photos and coffee. We also visit a local tea plantation and pass through several Co Tu minority villages, stopping frequently for photos and fresh fruit.
We end the day with a mountain sunset and spend the night in a traditional guesthouse in Prao Minority Village.
Day 2: Prao → Hoi An / Da Nang via Ho Chi Minh Trail (160 km)
On day two, we journey along the most scenic stretch of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, riding through peaceful valleys and dense jungle.
We visit remote Co Tu tribal villages and learn about their customs and traditional way of life. We then stop to swim at a hidden jungle waterfall, before continuing to My Son Sanctuary — a sacred Cham temple complex and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
As we approach your drop-off destination in Hoi An, Da Nang, or Hue, we ride through tranquil farming villages, wrapping up the day with a beautiful sunset over the rice fields.
We’ll drop you off at any location you prefer.

We did the 2 days / 1 night tour from Hue to Da Nang with Mister T and Duc and it was amazing! We drove on the iconic Ho Chi Minh trail & Hai Van pass, as well as many small roads off the beaten path through the countryside, at the ocean and in the mountains, visiting minority villages where we were the only tourists. It was really impressive and only possible with the 2 day tour!
They drove very carefully and their motorbikes are very comfortable. We were taken care of at all times with delicious local food, drinks and snacks along the way. Mister T is very knowledgeable, funny and speaks excellent English. We loved it and would definitely recommend, a unique way to experience incredible Vietnam with its culture and people
We had a great two-day trip with Mr T and his team (brother-in-law Duc). They picked us up in Hoi An and on day 1 we went past the Marble Mountains, Hai Van pass to Lang Co Beach where we had a great lunch on the beautiful beach. Afterwards, we went to Prao with a few stops, where we enjoyed a nice dinner. The rooms are correct. The following day then followed a fairly epic trek along the Ho Chi Minh trail, with some impressive stops at the Minority People and past waterfalls along the way. Me T and Duc are super helpful, enthusiastic, child-friendly, in short, it was a great adventure. In all modesty, I dare say you haven’t really seen Vietnam if you haven’t done this tour!
