Tour Itinerary

1. Tu Duc Tomb (Khiêm Lăng)
We begin at Tu Duc Tomb — a peaceful and poetic resting place of the 4th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. Your guide will share insights into the site’s history and symbolism. After the introduction, you’ll have around 1 hour to explore the grounds at your own pace. Entrance ticket included.

2. Incense-Making Village (Thuy Xuân)
Visit the 700-year-old incense-making village, where artisans craft incense using traditional methods. You’ll spend about 30 minutes here, with the chance to try making incense yourself.

3. Vong Canh Hill
Take a short trek to this beautiful viewpoint overlooking the Perfume River. The hill features remnants of French and American-era bunkers, making it both scenic and historic — ideal for photography and relaxation.

4. Khai Dinh Tomb (Ung Lăng)
Next, we visit the ornate tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh — the smallest but most elaborate of the royal tombs. Its unique blend of Eastern and Western architectural styles makes it a standout. We spend approximately 40 minutes here. Entrance ticket included.

5. Abandoned Waterpark (Thuy Tien Lake)
Explore the eerie yet fascinating Thuy Tien Waterpark — a surreal setting perfect for urban explorers and photographers. Walk among crumbling slides, moss-covered statues, and lakeside ruins for about 1 hour. Entrance ticket included.

6. Thien Mu Pagoda (Chùa Thiên Mụ)
This iconic 17th-century pagoda stands above the Perfume River and is one of Hue’s most sacred landmarks. Built in 1601 by Lord Nguyen Hoang, Thien Mu is a peaceful place to learn about Vietnamese Buddhism and enjoy the view — especially at sunset.

7. Hue Imperial City (The Citadel)
End your tour at the majestic Imperial City — the former seat of Vietnam’s emperors. Your guide will provide historical context before you enjoy about 2 hours exploring the grand palaces, temples, and ancient gates at your own pace. Entrance ticket included.
